Episcopal Church and Anglican Communion are topic of fourth General Convention bulletin insert

June 09, 2009 [Episcopal News Service] Episcopal Life Weekly continues its series of bulletin inserts on the subject of General Convention with "Bonds of Affection: The Episcopal Church and the Anglican Communion." Written by the Rev. Canon Charles K. Robertson, canon to Presiding Bishop Katharine Jefferts Schori, the insert outlines the relationship of The Episcopal Church and other churches in the Communion, all of which have roots in the Church of England. Primates, or presiding bishops and archbishops, of other provinces in the Communion have been invited to attend the General Convention, convening July 8 - 17 in Anaheim, California.
